Spring and Summer are great times for fun family pictures at the beach.

I can’t wait for spring and summer. After the crazy winter weather we had in New England and the SNOW!… in Florida…let’s just say I’m ready.

To get you thinking about this season, here is a lifestyle portrait shot at Sand Key in Clearwater, Florida. What a fun day this was. Not only did I shoot Austin’s picture but did and entire family portrait session on the beach. Sand Key Park is one of the most awesome places to visit and I love shooting there. If you go, bring LOTS of change because it’s metered parking and the park rangers make continual loops through the parking lots.

Now is about the time we all start planning summer activities and vacation trips and those super fun family or individual lifestyle photos that capture the fun of this time of year.  My April calendar is almost full, but some good dates are left in May. I will be in Connecticut the first part of July. August is filling up rather quickly as well. I will be in Maine and then Martha’s Vineyard.

People think unless you’re in Florida or So. Cali you can’t have exciting on-location outdoor portraits done in the winter. Wrong. If you enjoy the outdoors and want a portrait session for yourself, a couples session with your significant other (think on the slopes or at your favorite inn) or the kiddos (well just being themselves), do it. These are sure to be unique and something that all your friends will be envious of.

This is the start of something amazing. A blessing really. If you asked me about documenting real life love stories a few years ago, I wouldn’t have imagined it would be like this. Wonderful! And now I am able to share the fun. I am a fan of the greatest Love Story ever told and I am honored to have the opportunity to tell your very own unique story.
